Wank and Wank Cable-Car
Mount Wank is renowned for its panorama and as a destination for the family throughout the Werdenfelser region. Eckbauer by Cable-Car
The mountain station of the Eckbauer cable-car serves as a starting point for beautiful hikes through woods and pastures with stunning vistas in all directions. Destinations include Elmau Castle, the Graseck above the Partnachklamm gorge, Germany’s highest mountain village Wamberg and of course the way back to Partenkirchen. Plenty of choice for the entire family and all ages.

Laber Cable-car
Enjoy a ride with the nostalgic Laber Ropeway in Oberammergau to Laber Mountain. It doesn’t belong to the highest peaks of the Bavarian Alps but it offers one of the most tremendous views. Like standing on a balcony you can see the foothills of the Alps, with its many lakes and on a clear day you can even see Munich and further north.
Karwendel Cable-Car
Discover the high-alpine beauty of the Karwendel mountains.
The cable-car will take you to an elevation of 2.244 m and the pristine nature around the Karwendel peak within a mere 10 minutes.
Enjoy the views of the Mittenwald and the Isar valley in the distance beneath you while surrounded by majestic mountain views. Which you can witness from our sun-terrace or while indulging in the excellent food in our restaurant. Or while enjoying a full day’s hike or the spectacular and adventurous free-ride slopes of the Dammkar, also renowned as Germany’s longest skiable descent.
There is a special Panorama treck, the Passamani with great vistas. The Telescope with the panoramic window. The nature-information-center. And the nature itself.
Ehrwalder Almbahn
In the nearby village of Ehrwald in Austria, the cable-car Ehrwalter Almbahn is located between the Wetterstein and Mieminger mountains. Cabins for eight will take you up to this popular hiking and mountain-bike destination, where a variety of trails in all levels of difficulty will take you past cozy mountain huts with great gastronomy and idyllic mountain lakes.
And in winter you can discover 27,5 km of groomed slopes with modern lifts.
