Jaromir Konecny - Exceptionally funny
Experience cabaret and life art at its best with the funny Czech Dr. Jaromir Konecny. Did the Germans really invent umlauts to make communication more difficult and to annoy Czechs? Unpronounceable words like "coolant overflow tank"? Why are the stinky Munich Krapfen called Kreppel in Frankfurt, Puffel in Aachen, Berliner in Hamburg and Pfannkuchen in Berlin? Are Germans allowed to pour lemonade into beer despite the purity law? Are sedentary people prone to Alzheimer's? How do they turn their brains into thought grenades again?
Jaromir Konecny explores such questions in his stage program, sings and plays guitar, juggles, teaches the audience complex movements that keep the brain young and fresh, tells real Czech jokes - in German, of course, and doesn't even shy away from profundity.
Jaromir is not only the two-time runner-up in the German-language poetry slam championships, but also a summa-cum-laureate doctor of natural sciences with years of research experience at the Technical University of Munich - the Albert Einstein of cabaret artists. Or as the Süddeutsche Zeitung quotes: "Diamond among pebbles".
