Hiking tour: "Partnachklamm - Eckbauer

We cover the first meters from the meeting point of the Tourist Information Grainau with the Zugspitzbahn to the stop Hausberg. Together we make our way to the Partnachklamm gorge. On the way we pass the Olympic ski jump of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continuing along the Partnach, we soon reach the entrance to the Partnachklamm gorge. We follow the milky green Partnach through partly over 80 meters deeply cut rock gorge. The path to the Eckbauer leads us after the gorge left up some wooden steps. After we have managed the strenuous wooden steps, the path becomes flatter again. The path continues past the village of Vordergraseck, always uphill. Past blooming meadows and the mountain forest we soon reach the mountain inn Eckbauer. Together we have earned a breather. We leave the summit of the Eckbauer behind us and hike together via Wamberg, that one of the highest church villages in Germany back to the valley.
