The municipality of Grainau endeavors to keep its website www.grainau.de in accordance with the Bavarian E-Government Ordinance (BayEGovV).

This declaration on accessibility applies to the website of the Grainau Tourist Information Office.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The review of the site revealed that digital accessibility is not ensured in all respects and that the website is only partially accessible.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not barrier-free for the following reasons:

• Images and graphic control elements do not always have clear alternative texts.
• The programmatically determinable headline hierarchy deviates in part from the content structure of the page.
• The focus sequence is not consistently comprehensible.
• Not all PDF documents are accessible.
• The HTML syntax is not universally valid.
• The name, role or status for assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers) cannot be determined for all control elements.
• The error codes are not linked to the form fields.
• There is no individual error handling for input fields in the contact form. The additional standard error handling by the browser leads to problems when using the error suggestions with the Firefox browser, as the error message is not fixed to the corresponding input field.
• When navigating using the keyboard, not all areas can be jumped to or do not always have a focus
• Map content within the website meets the requirements for barrier-free use only insufficiently or not at all.
• The graphical control elements for controlling the carousels and lists are only partially keyboard operable.

This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the website www.grainau.de. This declaration does not apply to embedded interfaces of third parties or those that are taken over by so-called interfaces. This includes, for example, content from the following providers:

• Feratel for accommodation search and booking as well as the presentation of events, brochures and infrastructure
• destination.one in relation to the map display, including hiking and cycling tours
