The legendary mountain forest under the Waxensteinen is fun for the whole family. Turmangerblick, Königs- und Bärenwald, the Jägerstand and Wildererschluf are just some of the stations you can explore in a fun way. Not forgetting the numerous legends and stories about the Höllental valley. A brochure with all the legends and stations is available free of charge from the tourist information office. The walk takes about 2 hours, the route is 3 km long with slight inclines. There are plenty of opportunities to stop for a snack along the way.

Observe the reaction of plants to higher temperatures, follow the retreat of the Zugspitze glaciers, find out why climate change pleases the bark beetles but stresses the spruce trees, experience the power of nature and much more. In between, there is also plenty of time for relaxation: treat yourself to a breather on the loungers on the sunny Höhenrain.
