Public transport

With the Eibsee-Bus you can go directly to the starting point of the Höllentalklamm - bus stop Hammersbach. The cogwheel train Zugspitzbahn also stops in Hammersbach. The hiking trail begins at the chapel in Hammersbach.

By car

From Munich take the A 95 in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on the B2 towards Grainau, Fernpass, Reutte. 1st driveway - following the parking guidance system - to P2, Höllentalstraße (chargeable). If this is occupied, P1 at Schmölzstraße (chargeable).
