Children's author Rita Klaus (real name Eva Klaehn, Bader) is a mother of four and at least 14th generation Grainau resident. Among her ancestors is also a convicted witch. However, Lena prefers to live out her magic powers on paper. She studied literature in Munich and worked as a copywriter and journalist. She particularly enjoys writing stories about courageous outsiders and exciting discoveries. In her new hiking book "Zwergenspuk im Zugspitzland" (together with Oberau local historian Henny Schübel), she takes families into the legendary world of Zugspitzland. The motto of "Zwergenspuk" is hot: On the way on secret paths without crowds & Gequengel!
