Hike "Wank the Sun Mountain

By bus we drive to the Sebastian church in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this is located in the historic district of Partenkirchen. (Free ride with the guest card). Our guides will be happy to give you some interesting information about the historic Ludwigstraße. From there we go over several wooden steps through the forest to the Tannenhütte. We pass this until we reach the Eckenhütte a few switchbacks later. From here you already have a fantastic view of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Some serpentines later we reach the middle station. After we have done the 500 hm, we get into the gondola to reach the Wank summit. During a leisurely stop at the Sonnenalm we enjoy the fantastic view. The descent is first in a northerly direction via a steeper trail down to the Esterbergalm. On a well developed path, past the Dax chapel we reach the valley again. Depending on the arrangement, a ride with the gondola into the valley is also possible.
Cost for the gondola ride between 14,00 € - 20,00 € per adult & 7,00 €- 13,00 € per child depending on whether additional descent or not.
