Mountain tour "Stepberg"

The descent from the Kreuzeck area via the Bernadeinsteig and the Bockhütteins Reintal branches off to the left of the connecting path between Kreuzeck and Hochalm about halfway (from Kreuzeck approx. 15 minutes). The marked, easy-to-use path takes you through rocky terrain to the Bernadein service hut in about 45 minutes. We continue in the forest and past the Stuibenwand towering to the right of the path down to the Bockhütte in Reintal. The small, managed hut is beautifully situated in a clearing on the Partnach. Downstream you will now reach a beautiful hiking trail along the Partnach, which after about 1.5 km meets a forest road. After the same route on the forest road, it forks. Both paths ultimately lead to the ski stadium in Partenkirchen. The right variant runs directly along the Partnach and finally takes you through the Partnachklamm and past the hamlet of Wildenau to the ski station. The left variant, the so-called Hohe Weg, runs along the slope halfway up and takes you over the Partnachalm down to the stadium.
