Starting at the station's main entrance, drive straight ahead on Bahnhofstraße until you reach the intersection at the town hall (Rathauskreuzung). Turn right and follow the main road to the second traffic light (the Shell petrol station is on the left hand side) and keep to the left. When Ludwigstraße starts, turn right and cycle uphill. You will pass the "Alte Gasteig" and "Schöne Aussicht". After approx. 4 km, drive downhill at the intersection in the direction of the state road B2. Follow the cycle path until the signs point you to Wamberg at the other side of the road. Cross the state road. Caution: Do not go too fast downhill, as there is an ungated crossing after a small forest. Subsequently, the asphalted road leads with some steep sections to Wamberg, which is a mountain village. In the centre of the village, you are free to choose: If you do not want to miss the relaxed part of the tour, turn left to the Wamberg mountain restaurant. If you want to continue your tour immediately, turn right and cycle downhill to the hospital. This road is a partially very steep dirt road. When you have reached the valley, turn left at the Kainzenbad and pass the Olympia Skistadion (Olympic Skiing Stadium) and continue along the railway tracks. Turn right at the first crossing (Kochelbergstraße) and cross the railway tracks. From here, cycle back to the station via Gehfeld- and Lagerhausstraße.
